Another canvas from the always fabulous (!) Susan Battle Needlepoint line…nothing like a little self-promotion, eh?! The large lattice canvas is on 13 mesh and measures 16″ by 16″. The price is $224. It’s available in The Point of It All’s web store: http://tpoia.storenvy.com/
It looks awesome in purple but you could change the colors to blues or greens or pinks to suit your decor. So stylish.
I’m off to the needlework market on Friday…stay tuned for blog posts live from the convention floor!
I just found out about this marvelous book by Ann Cady Scott. It’s a binder full of images, letters, and numbers graphed out to work on a belt you design yourself. Here’s a link to her website: http://needlepointbeltbook.com/belts/default.htm which explains everything. We will be carrying this book at The Point of It All; it will retail for $65.
The designs will also work on my Design Your Own Key Fobs. I sell the key fob kit (canvas, hardware, instructions) by clicking here.
Of course if charting your own design sounds horrifying/impossible/daunting/an opportunity to make a big needlepoint mess, you can always work with our fab custom artist. If you are in town this Friday afternoon, the Divine Deborah will be at the shop. Email me for specifics.
A new canvas from the *inspired* Susan Battle Needlepoint line! I think these two dogs are absolutely charming…I love the folk art feel to the canvas. I actually finished stitching it recently and it should be back from the finisher soon. (No pressure, Debby!)
I used Appleton Tapestry wool for the background and Silk & Ivory for the dogs and the border. Once it’s back from the finisher, I’ll post a picture and let you know what stitches I used. (How bad is it that I can’t remember???)
The SIT canvas is available through The Point of It All (202 966 9898)…the cost is $104…it is on 13 mesh…and measures 12″x12.”
I am working with an artist to develop my own line of canvases, Susan Battle Needlepoint. Terribly clever name, don’t you think?! I’ll highlight these canvases in future posts. First up is a stunning peacock. This regal bird is stitch-painted on 18 mesh. The price is $250 and the painted size is 16″ x 16″. Right now these designs are available exclusively through The Point of It All. Email me if you would like to order one. I am stitching this canvas in Splendor silk…I will take a picture once he’s stitched and “pillowed”!
