It's time for another Staff Spotlight! Janie Ingalls is essential to The Point of It All operation! She's been part of the TPOIA family for more than 21 years and is a whiz at all things financial. She double checks my accounting and makes sure all the bills are paid on time. I greatly appreciate it and I know the artists do too! Janie is a beautiful stitcher who is always working on projects to give to her friends. Don't you want to be her friend?! Currently she is working on a Whimsy & Grace star, stitching in Trio by brown paper packages and balger by Kreinik. The canvas is going to be appliqued onto cream damask fabric with a beautiful cream and gold brush fringe. You could also forgo the pillow idea and instead make a beautiful Christmas tree topper. Other projects in the works include a flask for one of her buddies. (See my postfrom May 15th.) Janie also made all of us heart-shaped pins with the USA flag pattern post 9-11. Very thoughtful. Stop by and say hello to Janie. She's only in the shop on Saturdays...she has a full time job at the Department of Justice during the week. I'm glad she can find time to needlepoint with that busy schedule. She usually stitches during her commute. Don't worry: she takes the bus or carpools....I don't suggest stitching while driving! As always, happy stitching, Susan
