Why Finishing Matters (and What Makes Ours Different)

You've spent months - maybe years - on a canvas. What happens next matters. Finishing is the difference between a completed piece of stitching and something that lives in your home for the next fifty years.

Every canvas we finish is blocked by hand first. Blocking pulls the canvas back into square, resets tension, and lets the stitches settle. Skip this step and even the most beautiful stitching can end up crooked in a pillow or frame.

From there, we handle the details ourselves: cording, welting, backing fabric selection, hidden zippers for pillows, dovetailed wooden ornament backs, museum-quality framing. Nothing gets shipped out to a factory. Your canvas doesn't leave our hands.

Turnaround varies by project - a small ornament might be four weeks, a large pillow eight to twelve. We'll always give you an honest estimate at drop-off, and we'll call before we do anything you didn't ask for.

Bring your finished piece by the shop, or ship it to us. Either way, we'll treat it the way we'd want ours treated.
